Kurianoor is known for its love for basketball and Good shepherd school maintains a high standard in the game at the district level and also at the state level. The School has produced state players under the able leadership of our Basket Ball Coach Mr. Robert Jacob who himself has represented Indian team for basketball .
The School has a State of the Art basketball court built by the support of former students and well wishers. Regular training sessions are held after school hours and children are encouraged to participate in various inter school competitions and training camps.
In addition to basketball, The children also play cricket, volleyball. Badminton, Football in the vast playground of the school .
Sports competitions are held every year in various athletic events like Race, Shotput, high jump , long jump etc in which all students participate with great enthusiasm.
